INFO ON GROWER
Casa Belfi, owned by Maurizio Donadi, is a project that saw the recovery of old family vineyards in Veneto and cultivating them in an Organic, healthy way. Maurizio decided to introduce his winery with a "col fondo", a naturally made sparkling wine better known as Prosecco. Col fondo, also known as "Petnat" or the ancestral method is how Prosecco wine was used to be made - unfiltered, unfined and without any additions. The result is a dryer Prosecco with a cloudy appearance and a more complicated palate. Casa Belfi also produces red wines, sparkling red wines and white wines in Amphora. The focus of the winery is making wines that reliably showcase the terroir and are made healthily, without any additives whatsoever.  A member of Vinnatur.
