A magnificent red wine from the sunny terroir of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, Austria. Its known to produce the more expressive, round and ripe Austrian red wines, with the Blaufrankish variety as its flagship. Delicately balanced fruitiness and acidity on a texture that walks between the silky and juicy; It presents a translucent purple colour in the glass, gentle aromas of black forest fruit, a touch of leather and prune compote. On the palate, consistency and a satisfyingly long finish. A multi-purpose wine, stable and adaptable; it can be served chilled or just under room temperature, and accompany a variety of dishes such as hard cheese/charcuterie, creamy chicken dishes, grilled/roast pork or even a mild risotto.
