Maybe not, as chardonnay can be traced back to the same parent varieties. The secret of this wine is co-plantation - the different varieties are planted on the same plot, harvested at the same time, vinified and aged together. The result is a very attractive wine with pleasant aromas of acacia honey and candied citrus, the palate is slender with good tension, It could almost remind you of champagne without the bubbles.
