An exceptional Syrah from old vines where the grapes were destemmed and placed in the tank to slowly ferment for a period of one month with the most gentle manual extraction. And here is the "deal" with this wine - it is very delicate fragile: we think that it is on the level of some of the best Syrah wines coming from prestige areas such as the Northern Rhone for example. Those would be bottles costing north of ten time the price of what you have in front of you - The gentle concentration of flavour, the oh-so accurate and expressive manifestation of the variety, the superb balance and the material (consistency) that is luxuriously airy and velvety.
