In the words of the winemaker himself (who is always quite modest), Benoit Killian: "A pinot made from the selection that we call right pinot, a pinot noir that I imagined all in infusion, no punching down (not even foot trodden), just the grapes placed delicately in the vat and left alone for 9 days before pressing them.
