The nose is fairly discreet, misleading almost, as the palate reveals a deep and wide spectrum of flavours wrapped in a refreshing texture. black tea, orange peel and a slight touch of green apples. This bottle is as rare as they come; a 1998 vintage after which the vineyards that produced this wine have disappeared/uprooted from Guzqia. These are the last few bottles left. It would pair with a platter of bold, hard cheese and/or charcuterie. To be served chilled but not very cold. Read less
