Is this is the best Bonarda wine out there? It is a type of perfection - The rich and fertile soil in this part Northern Italy is perfectly suited for the Bonarda (Croatina) variety. A rigorous selection of the best grapes from the best plots is what is behind this fantastic red wine. What do you get? a lot of everything - Beautiful red fruit aromas, tantalizing garnet colour and a palate full of delicious complexity, concentration, mineral notes and a long persistent and round finish. "The merit is all of that stubborn, stubborn, wonderful love with the land". The 2010 vintage is now peaking with overall stocks thinning. We recommend opening and decanting 1-2 hours before drinking to aerate any excess aromas. Best served ever so slightly chilled. This wine gets better and better, we have tasted it 8 days after opening and it was still getting better. Read less
