A special edition release by Bodega Recuero, Amph'orange is an Orange wine made from a combination of 4 near extinct varieties sourced from the Bodega's vineyards in Toledo and Caceres. A lengthy maceration period of 4 weeks in traditional clay amphora vessels gives this wine its deep and bright amber colour. Expect a full and round palate that is full of fruity notes with an opulent, silky texture. The finish is long and persistent along with some welcome  complexity and a touch tingling tannins at the very end. We recommend drinking chilled but not very cold (about 45 minutes in the fridge. An interesting pairing with mild chutnys and currys. Read less
